Serve in Growing

Serving is one of the ways that we can express our love and thanks for all the things God has done for us. In addition, it is a great way to meet people and become connected with others who share your particular interests. Serving will also make your church feel like a place you belong. And finally, by serving, we will find ourselves changing to become more Christ-like.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Below is a list and description of the various areas in GROWING that provide an opportunity for you to serve at FBC. Read through this list, pray about your role, and the seek God's direction for your response.

KINGDOM KIDS

Kingdom Kids requires around 25 volunteers per week as it runs concurrent with both the Study Group hour and the Worship Service every Sunday. This ministry is a unique blend of small groups, teaching, artistic expression, Scripture memorization and fun. Included are children from birth to 5th grade. If you are interested in serving in this area please contact our Children's Ministry Coordinator, Marshall Kramer for details or check with the church office.

SMALL GROUP LEADER

Small Groups ministry undergirds all of the Christian Education programs of FBC by providing opportunities for people to connect in close-knit community with others. If you are interested in hosting or leading a small group please see Pastor Ben Cooley or Pastor Doug Bytwerk.

SUNDAY MORNING ADULT STUDY GROUP TEACHER

FBC is constantly searching for gifted teachers for Sunday Morning classes. If you are interested in serving in this way, please see Pastor Ben Cooley for details.

YOUTH MINISTRIES

Volunteers are constantly sought in this ministry for all weekly meetings, annual outings, and special events. In addition, FBC seeks to build a culture of multi-generational community so integrating youth with adults is a major theme. This requires that we have adults who are willing to be at or host events for our youth. If you are interested in serving or connecting with the youth of FBC please contact Pastor Matt Hill.

OTHER

A variety of other special events require volunteerism throughout the year, if you have a new idea or wish to serve in some way other than what has been listed, please check with the church office or Christian Education chairperson Pastor Matt Hill to mention your thoughts.
