November 7th, 2020
After receiving new information about the spread of Covid-19 within our congregation, and after reviewing the CDC and local health guidelines related to positive tests, the FBC Leadership Team has determined it is in the best interest of our church to postpone our Sunday services for the next 2 Sundays. This means we will not be gathering in person on November 8th or November 15th, and plan to resume in-person worship on November 22nd.
We do not take this decision lightly or without sincere disappointment. However, due to the fact that exposure can result in the risk of people getting infected or missing out on work or school for up to two weeks, we believe it is the best decision to make, and we do so in effort to protect our congregation and greater Spring Lake community. Please continue to be in prayer that the Lord would insulate our church from the virus, and that those affected will recover quickly and without any serious symptoms.
To supplement our lack of gathering in person for the next 2 Sundays, we will provide online content on our website (as we did back in the Spring).
With you in Christ,
"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. -Psalm 46:10-11
